Brooks Shoes and Apparel

The main update to the lightweight neutral Brooks Launch 7 is a completely new single-layer engineered mesh upper that is lighter and more breathable. This 10 millimeter drop shoe is perfect for faster paced running and sports a bouncy, responsive midsole that is the same as the previous model. If you have worn the Brooks Launch in the past, you will welcome the updates to the upper. If you haven’t tried the Launch yet, this version will meet your needs for a lightweight, neutral shoe for faster running.

Brooks Adrenaline 20

The latest update of the Brooks Adrenaline sees a few tweaks to make a supportive, comfortable everyday trainer even better. Guide rail technology continues to create stable, but not stiff support for your everyday running needs. There is now a little bit more space in the forefoot of the shoe, so that your toes can be even more comfortable. If you liked the Adrenaline 19, the latest edition will feel very familiar.

The new Ghost 12 uses DNA Loft cushioning for just the right amount of softness. This new model dials in the fit with a new engineered mesh and 3D Fit Print upper. The Ghost keeps getting better and better. Try one today.

The updated Glycerin remains Brooks’ flagship plush-cushioned trainer. This is an ideal shoe for recovery runs and long mileage. The Glycerin 17 has a full-length DNA Loft midsole that adapts to every step and is super soft. The plushness does not end with the midsole. A new OrthoLite sockliner ensures long-lasting softness right next to your foot. There is also a plush bootie interior that provides a luxurious sock-like fit. A Double Jacquard Mesh upper offers great breathability, flexibility, and structure. According to Runner’s World, wear-testers continue to be impressed by the durability and traction of the Glycerin 17’s outsole, which has not changed from the previous model (If it’s not broken…). Fans of the Glycerin will love the recent tweaks and improvements. If you haven’t tried the Glycerin and are looking for a premium plush-cushioned neutral trainer that takes the word “plush” seriously, you must try the Glycerin 17.

Brooks’ premier lightweight stability shoe experiences some significant technology updates in its latest version releasing on February 1. Brooks’ new GuideRails holistic support system is now part of the new Ravenna. The BioMoGo DNA midsole provides a springy feel underfoot, which makes for a nimble, yet supportive, shoe. Additional security is provided by a midfoot saddle that wraps around your foot.

The Brooks Launch 6 continues where the 5 left off: light, springy, and fast for your up tempo running. This is a neutral shoe that will accommodate a lot of different runners because of its segmented crash pad that delivers a smooth ride regardless of where you touch down. There are several improvements over the previous version. First, we have a bootie-style construction that allows for a more molded, customized feel inside the shoe. Second, a lighter, one-piece mesh upper allows for a flexible “barely-there” feel. If you want to run fast, or are merely looking for a light, good-looking neutral trainer, this could well be your shoe.

The new version of the Brooks Adrenaline constitutes a paradigm shift in how Brooks addresses stability. Rather than a posting on the medial side of the shoe, Brooks has introduced GuideRails 2.0 as a way to achieve a more holistic alignment. The guiderails work like bumpers at a bowling alley with your foot acting as the ball.  Your “Run Signature” – the way your body wants to propel itself forward is not impinged upon by aggressive support; rather, your running is guided so that you can run like you were meant to. The new Adrenaline shakes up the traditional neutral and stability categories – everyone will benefit from this support. Try one out today!

The update of the Brooks Levitate is all about making a fantastic running shoe even better. Why mess with success? The DNA AMP midsole remains unchanged, so the feeling under foot remains the same. The big changes that Brooks made to the Levitate are to the upper. Now the Fit Knit upper surrounds an internal bootie that eliminates heel slippage for a sock-like performance fit. If you liked the original, you will like the Levitate 2. If you haven’t yet tried the Levitate, treat yourself to a cushioned, responsive, high-mileage trainer this summer.

The new Brooks Ghost builds on a great shoe and makes it even better with new DNA Loft foam for more responsive cushioning and a segmented crash pad for a smoother ride. A new engineered mesh upper with targeted stretch zones and the elimination of the previous stitched toe-piece creates the ultimate in a comfortable and secure upper. A 12 millimeter offset continues to supply necessary support under your Achilles tendon. This shoe will meet all of your running needs.

The sixteenth version of Brooks’ plush-cushion trainer builds on the many strengths of the previous model. The Glycerin 16 now incorporates a softer DNA Loft midsole foam for even more luxurious cushioning. A new engineered mesh upper cradles your foot and removes any potential stress points. Your feet will remain comfortable regardless of distance. If you’re looking for a great distance shoe, check out the new Brooks Glycerin.

Brooks has completely revamped the latest version of the Ravenna for a lighter-weight, more performance-oriented mild stability trainer. The midsole of the new Ravenna is noticeably springy, as well as supportive. The upper is inspired by Brooks’ latest engineered mesh for flexible, foot-hugging, comfort. If you need some light stability for faster running, this is a good choice.

Brooks’ updated “go to” stability shoe has removed most of the overlays and now has a streamlined engineered mesh upper for a more comfortable fit. The segmented crash pad that allows for a smooth ride regardless of how your feet land remains largely unchanged, so if you have worn previous versions of this shoe, you will continue to be amazed by the combination of stability and cushioning.
